The Gran Via 2 shopping center is located in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, in its border with Barcelona and very close to the city center and to different road links to the metropolitan area. Its conception acted as a starting point for the urban transformation that has made this sector one of the main hubs of the metropolitan area.
At the moment it was opened, the center meant a great innovation in terms of commercial mix and customer attraction. The combination of supermarket, shopping mall, cinemas, restaurants and a careful development of the surroundings, as well as the underground car park facilities (with a capacity for more than 3,000 vehicles), allow a comfortable and attractive shopping experience.
The building is divided into two levels around the “Malls” with public spaces designed as covered alleys which give an almost urban feeling. On the upper floor of the building lies the leisure zone, including a cinema complex and some restaurants set around an outdoor terrace.
